Congratulations to Conor on his promotion to HR Ge

Congratulations to Conor on his promotion to HR Generalist! Since joining Low Tide in 2019 as Office Manager, Conor has played a key role in fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture. In his new position, he will continue to lead recruitment, manage benefits programs, and support our team with HR initiatives. We asked Conor a few questions to reflect on his experience at Low Tide!

What is your favourite memory from working at Low Tide?

“Wow, its tough to pick just one after 6 years. I would have to say, the day I got promoted to an HR Generalist. It was something that I had been working towards for years and for that day to actually arrive, it was pretty special.”

What is your favourite neighbourhood in Vancouver and why?

“Mount Pleasant is my favourite neighbourhood. You’ve got it all, its a bit quirky, great food, live music, and lots of character. Honourable mention to Commercial, which comes in at a close second.”

Can you share with us a goal that you are working towards in 2025?

“Absolutely, there are two goals I am actively workings towards. The first is achieving my CPHR designation and the second is maintaining a consistent workout schedule. I had originally set a goal to do 100 workouts in 7 months. Thankfully, I completed this goal in mid February, but my intention is to keep the momentum going and complete 250 workouts by December 31.”
