The groundwork is being laid for South Flatz newest property, Lab 29, a cutting-edge laboratory and office building that will soon stand on Scotia Street. Named after the 29th element, copper, Lab 29 pays homage to the metal manufacturing facilities that stood here in the past and the scientific research and development that will take place here in the future. In addition to the name, the completed building will feature a striking copper colour intertwined throughout the property’s unique architecture—making it stand out amongst the other buildings in Vancouver’s newest creative district.
